About
Aubra Taylor, MA, LMHCA
Aubra encourages a goal-oriented therapeutic approach, helping to overcome the obstacles that inhibit our wants and needs from being met. This direction promotes forward movement, and therapeutic progress. However, each client has unique counseling preferences, and sensitivity to these individual differences is imperative. Aubra has also found her clients to benefit greatly from psychoeducation, and periodically offers relevant information when desired. She is also skilled in analyzing the nuances of how each client experiences our world, and provides clients with an educated outside perspective to assist in self-awareness. Often, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Psychoeductionare found to be particularly helpful in this pursuit, but others often apply depending on the obstacle at-hand.
